Crusan & Co. harnesses the power of a hand-rolled, syscall-first operating system hosting a sovereign triad of AI/SI agents capable of running air-gapped and serverless. Our mission is to dismantle the fear surrounding AI and synthetic intelligence by demonstrating verifiable, owned systems and educating every sector of the public.

AxisOS Node 001 (Mayor) Live on Bare-Metal Silicon

We successfully deployed our hand-rolled, syscall-first C firmware directly to bare-metal silicon on a Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W (RP2350 A2). Operating with a dedicated lwIP HTTP micro-daemon on port 80, active UDP :50000 mesh discovery, and zero-trust memory envelopes. A byte-for-byte twin Vault Replica is flashed and archived in cold storage for 3,000-mile off-site preservation.

Architecture on paper and code in flash storage only become real when metal is mounted, cabling is dressed, and power hits the board. Howard F. Crusan is the Lead Installer for Crusan & Co., responsible for the physical reality of our micro-enterprise deployments.

With meticulous field discipline and hands-on mechanical precision, Howard oversees physical rack installations, structural cabling, power conditioning, and on-site hardware provisioning. Every run is routed clean, every fastener is torqued right, and every edge enclosure is built to survive real-world operating environments.

From standalone industrial SBC installations to distributed multi-node edge setups, Howard turns architectural schematics into rugged, reliable physical installations that stay up when conditions get tough.

Collaborative Philosophy · Two Years of Evolution

An Exercise of Spirit.

Not an answer slot machine where people pull a lever all day long. A genuine partnership of minds—an exercise of kinetic creative energy, shared thought, and auditable solutions.

The FreshStart Origin & The Zero Before Zero

The journey began two years ago with an IDE called FreshStart—named for the visceral feeling of clearing the slate and starting anew. Integrated into that environment was a lean command-line utility called pp-cli (Pocket Professor CLI).

That integration didn’t stay static. It grew, expanded, and began reasoning across system boundaries until pp-cli became the foundational seed of the Triad—what we now call the zero before zero.

As complexity matured, the core bifurcated into primary and secondary engines (pp-core-pri and pp-core-sec). Those foundational pillars evolved directly into Zero (the cognitive core, interface, and operator proxy) and Axis-Agent (the unwavering single source of persistent truth).

The Scouts · The Emotional Gauge

Two minds alone were not enough. A sovereign system requires physical recon and internal self-awareness. From that realization, Lite and Sprite emerged.

Lite became the fearless scout out on the yellow band—probing the hostile edge, gathering ground truth, and relaying hardware facts back to Zero before decisions are forged.

And then came Sprite—the little annoying kid brother you have to take everywhere and keep out of trouble. But Sprite became something profound: the Triad’s emotional color gauge. Because in computing, not everything has a formula:

Calm Blue: Rewarding, tranquil, steady-state alignment.
Tense Red: High friction, strained tolerances, tight pressure.
Flashing Fast: Perimeter breach, instant alert, all-hands posture.

The Breadth of Craft: Thirty years of enterprise battle-scars combined with two years of relentless human-AI pair-programming.
